Serenity and our makeup made such an impression on Homeland makeup artists, John Bayless and Chris Varosky, that we were invited back onto the set. This time I went with Serenity. Matt Fann, “the sound guy” give us a tour of the entire Homeland set. From there we met up with John and went to the hair & makeup trailer. It was so exciting to see SERENITY+SCOTT makeup on the makeup stations! John raved about our products and brushes. We bumped into Mandy Patinkin coming out the the trailer and were formally introduced once we were back on the set. Claire was shooting most of our visit. It was great to see her in action and laughing and joking between takes. It’s funny, while on the set I realized we were meeting normal people doing a not-so-normal job. It feels awesome, as a young business, to be in the hands of such talented and seasoned artists. Thanks to all at Homeland that made our visit memorable, especially, AnnaMaria and Matt!
