Last week Serenity and I got to spend the week with Keith Wright and his team. I worked on the print portion of the job and Serenity was in charge of the video portion. The official job was to shoot for ThermoScientific. Their product line is huge and is manufatured all over the globe. There was a problem with a shipment needed for the shoot that got stuck in customs. Not wanting to waste an opportunity, Keith suggested a quick shoot with a Mad Men vibe. After a quick hair, makeup and wardrobe change we were outside shooting. It may be the fastest shoot we’ve ever done, but the images look amazing. I have the best job ever. I get to work with THE most talented people on the planet. Zack and I have been wanting to shoot something more fashion editorial lately, but hadn’t had the opportunity. Enter Amber Hatchett. We pitched some ideas to her for an edgier look for her latest collection and the above was born. Zack and I each will have a photoshoot with some of her latest pieces. The images above are from the shoot I did with Amber, photographer, Dan Wickham, hair stylist to the stars, Laleña Settlemyre, and two up and coming new models, Caroline Miller and Adrien Leidy. It’s that time again. Everyone’s getting hitched. To start of the season right, we were a part of the cover shoot for I Do Magazine! Angela Ramsey makes a beautiful bride and Audrey Goforth was the photographer to capture the wedding. Thanks to Gwen Ford and Amanda of Wedding Inspirations for inviting us to be involved.

It seems like April is my month for commercials. I had the good fortune of working with Steven McBride on a shoot for Biltmore Estate. Above is my favorite behind the scenes shot of Steven hiding in the tulips, camera ready to catch the unsuspecting models strolling through the gardens, with his trusted assistant photographer Daniel by his side. Below is a few behind the scenes from a shoot for Mission Hospital. I worked the the folks from Integritive 2 and Bonesteel Films. We shot three commercials in one day. The images below are from two of the three locations. We shot some additional footage in the NICU (Mission’s state-designated neonatal intensive care unit) a few days later. It was such a wonderful experience to get a glimpse of what Mission Hospital is all about.

We now host the entire line of accords available outside of Christopher’s New York Gallery. Come in and get a whiff of all ten. We also have five of his top water perfumes in the shop: 1966 At the Beach, Winter 1972, Russian Caravan Tea, In the Library and Mr. Hulot’s Holiday. It is such a coup for us to be one of the first boutiques in the country to carry CB I Hate Perfume!

I love working the day the latest issue of Sophie Magazine hits the stands. This month I had the pleasure of working with Angela Ramsey and Zaire Kacz on the fashion spread. I hope to post images soon. In the meantime, here’s our latest BeautyTrend with Jackie. I love working with Jackie on these. One, because she is as fun to be around as she is beautiful. Two, because I love illustrating how makeup can transform a person. It’s amazing how a little eyeshadow or lipstick can change a person’s looks. So, once again, thank you, Jackie, for being my elegant model and muse!

I spent my Sunday working with the best. I was on a shoot for Ananda Hair Studio. Larry and his team collaborated with Internationally known photog Stewart Young, fashion designer R. Brooke Priddy and me, to create a beautiful series of images. I have a feeling you’ll see some of them in a spread in Sophie Magazine. In the meantime, here’s a behind the scenes look at the fun.
